Septic Tanks- a water issue?
This briefing is aimed primarily at Environmental NGOs in order to advance general understanding of the technical issues associated with septic tanks and other private waste water treatment systems.

EVENTS:
On Tuesday 20th of March 2012 there will be a lunchtime briefing [12.30-2pm] on the proposed new septic tank regulations and standards. The briefing will be in the 'Green Room' at the Macro Building, 1 Green Street, Dublin 7.
In attendance will be Dr. Robbie Meehan a Consultant Geologist who specialises in ground analysis, groundwater and surface water protection, and site investigation. His ideology is that of sustainable development in partnership with environmental interests and concerns.
This briefing is aimed primarily at Environmental NGOs in order to advance general understanding of the technical issues associated with septic tanks and other private waste water treatment systems. It will be particularly useful to those intending to lodge a submission to the Consultation Call by the DoECLG before the deadline of the 30th of March 2012 and who wish to engage constructively with this important issue.
