Irish Environmental Network

Irish Environmental Network (IEN) represents to government the capacity building and funding needs of its member organisations, all of whom are involved in one way or another in the well-being, protection and enhancement of the environment. All these individual organisations attempt to achieve these aims through:

- practical conservation work,
- raising public awareness of environmental and conservation needs and
- campaigning and lobbying.

Irish Environmental Network, with funding from the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, collectively supports and co-ordinates these organizations so that they maximize their impact and effectiveness through combining their efforts in all of the above activities.
