Rath N.S., hosted a day of workshops based on the Wood of Life exhibition and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).

Rath National School  Global Citizenship Week  December 5th-9th.

29 pupils in 5th/6th class (11/12 years), 28 in 3rd/4th (9/10 years), took part in a series of workshops given by Tom Roche of Just Forests.

We had a great day talking about the importance of wood and forests and what actions we need to take to ensure that forests continue to provide the gooda and services society needs for survival.
