United Nations Decade on Biodiversity - Official Video
Just Biodiversity
The United Nations Decade on Biodiversity will serve to support the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity and promote its overall vision of living in harmony with nature. Its goal is to mainstream biodiversity at different levels.
Achieving the Aichi Targets by 2020
COP 11 will be held in Hyderabad, India, from 8 to 19 October 2012...more here
Along with Just Forests your school will contribute to the above by participating in Thinking TREES (and our other resources) and encouraging good forest management and responsible timber sourcing through all your activities.
Your school:
Safeguarding biodiversity is a task that calls for the active involvement of all citizens. We need assistance and partnerships to communicate with the world.
Partners to the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity have made a long-term commitment to promote the Decade in all their activities and communications.
The United Nations Decade on Biodiversity (UNDB) 2011-2020 have recognised our role and have formally made us a partner
You can now view Thinking TREES and other Just Forest resources on the UNDB website:
