ETY 2014-Ireland's Grey Giant needs your vote

European Tree of the Year 2014:The giant Grey Poplar tree in Birr Castle Estate, Birr, Co. Offaly, has been accepted as Ireland's entry in the European Tree of the Year 2014 Contest. This particular Grey Poplar tree is the largest in Ireland and Britain and is regarded by some as the largest of it's kind in the world.......MORE news to follow-keep tuned...

We at the Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation have been working together with Tom from Just Forests on the Europan Tree of the Year project raising awareness towards trees and the natural heritage they represent.
