WOL - interactive

Each of the 22 panels will have "hotspots" inserted that will bring you on a fascinating journey across the world to see where we in Ireland get our timber and the role of the people involved. This will be suitable for presentation via the 'whiteboard' and will bring education on the importance of wood/forests alive in your classroom.

All 22 panels of the

Wood of Life exhibition

now available.

Below you will find low-resolution version of the Wood of Life (WOL) interactive version. During 2015/16 each of the 22 panels (plus an additional 3 NEW panels) will have "hotspots" that will bring you on a fascinating journey across the world to see where we in Ireland get our tropical, temperate and boreal timber.

You will meet people and animals from the different eco-regions that we in Ireland impact through our use of their resources. You will learn about the role of the people involved in community forestry. You will discover just how dependent we are on the goods and sercices of tropical, temperate and boreal forests for food, fruit, medicine, oxygen and of course wood.

This will be suitable for presentation via the 'whiteboard' and will bring education on the importance of wood/forests alive in your classroom.
