Tax Deductible
Tax-deductible Donations
Irish Woodworkers for Africa, T/A Just Forests is an approved charity under the Scheme of Tax Relief for Donations to eligible Charities and other Approved Bodies per Section 848A Taxes Consolidation Act, 1997. The company's charity number is CHY10686.
If you pay PAYE income tax in the Republic of Ireland and donate more that €250 in a tax year, Just Forests can claim tax relief on your donations. This significantly increases the value of your donations at no extra cost to yourself – the amount we can claim back depends on your rate of tax. The relevant form can be downloaded here and if your gift is eligible and you have not completed a form we will contact you at the end of the tax year.
Remember Just Forests in Your Will
You can also contact your solicitor and ask that Just Forests be left something in your will.
Leave a Legacy:
A legacy is when you leave a sum of money in your will to a charitable cause, club or association. Some people choose to leave their entire estates to charity, but even a small gift can make a big difference.
Perhaps you already have a favourite cause, or maybe you always wanted to do something special for a charity or your local club or association? Remember them in your will and leave a lasting legacy in your community. More...
Remember Just Forests focuses on the root causes of natural resource decline, thereby making a sustainable improvement. We do not engage in immediate relief projects. Your money will have long-term impact.
