Ghana and Liberia undermining Voluntary Partnership Agreement implemen

It is important that civil society organisations (CSO) in Ghana, Liberia, and the EU insist that governments take illegal logging seriously, and that any attempts to sidestep VPA requirements are suppressed. The Liberian NGO coalition and Forest Watch Ghana have both expressed concerns and raised questions with the respective forestry authorities.

Lego said it will use only FSC certified fibres in its product packaging materials in future. The Lego Group has been commended by Greenpeace for showing leadership in taking the decision to only source packaging materials for its toys from suppliers that are not involved in deforestation.
